ABOUT VAL
For almost two decades, Valerie Eden has been tutoring students using unique educational practices throughout the Westchester area to help them reach their potential. Through individually customized study, Val's methods have proven to be extremely successful.
Valerie's goal, through private and group sessions, is to build confidence so that high levels of achievement can be attained. She provides study and organizational skills to successfully tackle difficult material, improving grades dramatically. The student's school curriculum is closely followed, using a hands-on approach to assist all students in reaching their individual goals.
What sets Valerie Eden and her staff apart from other tutoring services is their relaxed approach and their understanding of individual needs. Valerie is always available to parents to offer advice in navigating the proper academic path for their child. The comfortable atmosphere brings out the best in each student as they build a sense of confidence in their studies. Many students take advantage of the opportunity to phone Val until 11pm to ask questions on problems that might be causing them difficulty or stress.
Val's clientele ranges from high achievers to those with learning difficulties. Her staff is highly sensitive to the needs of each student and works toward providing every individual with the confidence needed to succeed in all areas of education. Parental coaching, when necessary, has proven to be extremely beneficial.
